Printable labels for jar gifts you make yourself.

Spoonfern is an independent shop that makes one thing: printable labels, tags and recipe cards for homemade pantry-mix gifts.

What we make

One complete collection, done carefully. It has 28 dry mixes, and each one comes with a front label, a back card, a tie-on hang tag and a recipe card. Everything is sized for real jars and laid out on US Letter, A4 and Avery-format sheets.

The files are ready to print as they are. There are no apps to learn, no accounts to make and nothing to edit.

What we care about

Clear instructions. Every back card tells the person receiving the jar exactly what to add, how long to bake or cook it, and how long the mix keeps. Quantities are in US cups and grams, and temperatures are in °F and °C.

Recipes more people can enjoy. Every mix is written without alcohol, gelatin, pork or lard, and uses alcohol-free vanilla powder instead of extract. That makes the recipes halal-friendly, but we are not a halal certification body, so please check the brands of ingredients you buy.

A blank allergen line on every card, so you can note what is in your batch.

What we haven’t done yet

We would rather tell you up front. The recipes have not been kitchen-tested, and the Avery-format layouts have not been checked against every brand of label sheet. Before a big gifting run, make one test batch and print the alignment test page on plain paper first.

Why you won’t see our faces here

We keep the shop about the work, not about us. You won’t find personal photos or life stories on this site. You will find a real person reading your email if you get stuck.
