Terms and Conditions

These terms cover buying from Spoonfern and using our printable files. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to them.

1. Digital products only

Everything we sell is a digital download. Nothing is shipped: no jars, ingredients, labels or printed items.

After payment, your download link is sent by email. The link works for 48 hours, so please download the files and save them to your device straight away. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder, then contact us.

2. Refund policy: all sales are final

Because digital files are delivered instantly and can’t be returned, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges once your order is complete, including if you change your mind or bought by mistake.

If something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right. If your download link doesn’t work, a file is missing or damaged, or you were charged twice for the same order, email support@spoonfern.store within 14 days of purchase. We will send working files, or refund a duplicate charge.

If you live in the EU or UK: by completing your purchase you ask us to make the digital content available immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download is made available to you.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

3. Your licence

When you buy, you get a personal licence to use the files. You may:

• print the files as many times as you like for your own use;

• give jars, labels, tags and recipe cards as free gifts to family, friends, neighbours, teachers, colleagues or guests.

You may not:

• sell printed labels, tags or cards, or sell filled jars that use our designs;

• share, upload, resell, give away or redistribute the digital files, in whole or in part;

• claim the designs as your own or use them in any product or design you sell.

We keep all ownership and copyright in the designs, artwork, text and recipes.

4. Printing results

Colours and sizes can vary with your printer, paper, ink and print settings. The Avery-format layouts have not been checked against every brand of label sheet. Always print the alignment test page on plain paper first, and print at 100% or “Actual size”. We are not responsible for the cost of paper, labels or ink.

5. Recipes and food safety

The recipes are written as a guide and have not been kitchen-tested. Please make a test batch before you give any as gifts.

You are responsible for the ingredients you choose, food hygiene, storage, labelling and allergen information on the jars you make and give. Shelf-life guidance is approximate and depends on your ingredients and how the jars are stored.

“Halal-friendly” means the recipes are written without alcohol, gelatin, pork or lard. It is not a halal certification. Check the certification of each ingredient brand you buy.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Any taxes are added where the law requires them. We may change prices at any time, but a change won’t affect an order you have already placed.

7. Using this site

Please don’t misuse the site, try to get around its security, or copy its content for commercial use. We may update or change the site and the products at any time.

8. Disclaimer

The files and the site are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that the files will suit a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], unless the consumer laws of the country where you live say otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
